As an artist, I find that drawing with my eyes closed while listening to music allows me to tap into a more intuitive, spontaneous part of myself. This practice helps me to loosen up and let go of preconceived notions of what my art should look like, allowing my subconscious mind to guide my hand.

From these abstract lines, I then carefully extract figures and shapes that emerge from the chaos. It is an organic process of discovery that feels akin to sculpting, as I chisel away at the excess to reveal the essence of my vision.

To bring these forms to life, I choose to work with metal, which offers me both the structural support and the malleability I need to create dynamic, three-dimensional pieces. I enjoy the tactile nature of the material, the way it responds to my touch and transforms under heat and pressure.

My work is about finding beauty in unexpected places, about exploring the liminal space between order and chaos, and about bringing to life the fleeting visions that dance in the corners of my mind. By working with metal, I hope to imbue my creations with a sense of permanence and timelessness, while still retaining the ephemeral, dreamlike quality that inspired them.
